| Sage 200 OnlineSage 200 is a more powerful accounting system than Sage 50. It supports a higher volume of transactions because it uses Microsoft SQL server rather than a proprietary Sage database. It also supports more flexible analysis with support for cost centres and departments and allows period ends to be carried out independently on each ledger. The Sage 200 license, unlike Sage licenses for Sage 50 accounts and Sage 50 payroll, allows users to have their software hosted. Therefore there are no special license terms required to have Sage 200 hosted on the Online50 platform. This also means that customers wanting to implement Sage 200 will have to pay the normal Sage license in the same way as users implementing Sage 200 within their offices. As this is the same license, transferrable between your own infrastructure and hosted infrastructure, you will not have to pay for separate licenses to run either on the Online50 platfrom, or on your own in-house infrastructure. So, once you have purchased the license you are free to run it where you choose. | |
