Hosted Software - Our Service

When you access the Online50 service you are using software programs that are running on our servers. Your data is kept in our datacentres, but you are able to take a backup of your data to your own systems if you need to, allowing you to have full control over your own data. We take responsibility for the continued operation of the service including:

  • Correct installation of all software
  • Provision and maintenance of all hardware required to provide the service
  • Provision and maintenance of all Internet connectivity for the servers
  • Provision of the helpdesk for system operation
  • Ensuring that we have sufficient capacity to meet the needs of our users
  • Ensuring that you are correctly licensed for the software that you use on our platform
  • Maintaining proper security and separation of different company data
  • Registering data for use with the appropriate version of the software (so that data is not accidentally upgraded by being opened in a newer version of the program)

Because we can host multiple applications you can have as many of these applications as you need. This means that you do not need to have multiple arrangements with different suppliers and that you get maximum value from the service by paying for hosting costs once - regardless of the number of applications being hosted.


Run Your Business, Not Your IT

Using the Online50 service you don't need to worry about running your IT Systems, you can concentrate on running your business.

If a new version of software requires an updated level of hardware, you don't have to upgrade your systems because we are providing the hardware that runs the sotware.

If you need to move to a more sophisticated system to get better managment information you don't need to worry about how the system will be run, you can concentrate on the business drivers for that system (such as the enhanced information that you will need).
